Islam came to this world as mercy for all world. Doctrine of Islam is a doctrine from Heaven(sama’i), fitted with the meaning, Prosperity. Much benefit that can be known if it’s deeply learned.
One of the doctrine Islam is Closing nakedness. Nowdays much people don’t care for doctrine of closing nakedness (womankind particulary). Whereas there is wisdom in this doctrine, health particulary.
Doctrine of closing nakedness found in Allah’s decree,
“O Prophet! Tell Thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that They should cast their outer garments over their persons (When abroad): that is Most convenient, that They should be known (as such) and not molested. and Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.” (al-Ahzab : 59)
In the following verse is explained which upper-side and under-side that have to be closed. Allah’s decree,
“And say to the faithful women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to display their adornment except what is apparent of it, and to extend their headcoverings (khimars) to cover their bosoms (jaybs), and not to display their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their womenfolk, or what their right hands rule (slaves), or the followers from the men who do not feel sexual desire, or the small children to whom the nakedness of women is not apparent, and not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments. And turn in repentance to God together, O you the faithful, in order that you are successful” (an-Nur : 31)
Closing nakedness for womankind that fitted with Islam law:
1. close body from hair-tip to foot-tip. Only permitted to show face and palm.
2. only wear clothes that isn’t thin and transparent
3. only wear clothes that isn’t jammed(showing hollow of the body)
Health prespective, closing nakedness prevent from dangerous illness, such skin-cancer. Skin-cancer can be caused by UV-ray that is sun’s. Formerly, UV-ray that came into earth isn’t dangerous, but now UV-ray is top causation for skin-cancer. Normally, UV-ray is bounced toex-earth. But Ozone layer thiner and thiner, causing reflection of UV-ray isn’t maximal. And then give effect to human health. As known, women’s skin is thiner than men’s. It means women is more posible and faster to get skin-cancer. Sun’s ray that directly interact with human’s skin also will cause skin dry, dull, damage, dark, and get black-spot. Therefore, by closing nakedness sun’s ray don’t directly interact with skin, but firstly interact with the clothes.
K vitamin is gotten from sun’s ray. K vitamin useful for bones, and so on, Isn’t by closing body cause sun’s ray absorption isn;t maximal and it mean K vitamin that gotten is more little? There has been already research shown that only by sunbathing face and palm, during 30 minutes, at the time less than 09.00 O’clock, need of K vitamin has been fulfilled.
SubhanaAllah, Allah The Greatest who droped Islam to this world. Closing nakedness is doctrine Islam. And one of them has prevented us from dangerous illness.
Closing nakedness can be done by wearing Hijab(veil, muslim clothes, and so on). Age to age, Hijab always transform from the colors, the stuff, the model, and the type. Much hijab are beautiful at present. But it’s to regretted that the Hijab quite different with Islam laq command (means still showing hollow of the body). Hijab should follow Islam law.
Don’t be afraid! Because outer-beauty will be dull refering to the age, but inner-beauty will never lost by the age.
